The Zero Harm millenials…….

Written by Pettit Group

PETTIT Works Supervisor Matt Jackson, fresh from his SMSTS and Highways England Common Induction course, gave some of the office team a run through of recent civils projects that he has been overseeing in the Kent area. Matt gave a full presentation and Q&A session at the end of the presentation to our more office bound employees- including Jack DeSilva- one of our young apprentice Construction Managers (Currently studying at University College of Estate Management) and our estimators.

The 2 hour informative session was received very well and is a conscious effort on our part of PETTIT’s as a company, to bridge the ‘them and us’ gap, sometimes experienced between office and site members of staff.

This will now form part of a monthly Q&A session, with works managers from other areas of our business, taking the time to give further insight into the responsibilities and pressures on site, and vice versa, for a more harmonious TEAM!
